4/5 as it is fair for its cost, but the praise in the reviews is excessive:
- It does not support 3.4A/17W charging from ONE USB port, the number is the total it can provide. If you expect to charge your phone quickly like a 17W charger, you will be disappointed. Of course, it does not state it anywhere, and someone else, from what I saw, correctly measured it at 1.5A from one USB port.
- The box mentions various things in general and vague terms about device protection, etc., but they are not documented as I did not see anything inside. And if you pay attention, it does not specifically state anything like "protection against overvoltage" because it does not offer it.
- The switch is not mechanical and does not completely cut off the power. An LED receives power and continues to blink with the switch off, the first time I encounter such a thing
Average! The rating is 2500W at 10A, but the cables inside are very thin, I wouldn't trust it. Usually, power strips of this type have 1.5mm or 1.0mm cables, here it's 0.75mm. The switch is fake. In terms of safety, I don't see anything inside for device protection.
It has a nice switch that you can't easily turn off by accident. My USBs seem to charge faster than another power strip I have, where charging 18650 batteries is delayed
Just ordered my third one for my house. I have been completely satisfied for two years now. Good price, aesthetically pleasing, and the USB ports are very useful.
Value for money power strip, practical, stylish, and convenient. Indeed, as mentioned in other comments, it would be useful to have notches for wall mounting, but it's not a big deal.
A stylish power strip with four outlets. The USB ports provide a solution for emergencies if there is no adapter, only a cable (the charging is slow but it does the job...). It would be even better if it had a USB type C port.
It does not output 3.4A when charging iPhone Xs or Galaxy Fold5.
For the Fold, it only provides fast charge and not super fast.
It suits me because I don't want to charge too quickly when I have time. Quality sturdy construction, nice design. I don't know if it is safe. For its price, it is acceptable.
Optically, it appears to be well constructed with good quality plastic and a proper length of cable. Functionally, the sockets fit well with computer plugs, monitor, lamp, and printer, and work without any issues. The USB ports are weak, they charge slowly and get very hot when charging batteries with high amperage. When using multiple devices simultaneously, things worsen as it overheats and cuts off the power supply until it cools down a bit. For the price it has, it's fine, as long as it behaves correctly in case of a power network failure from the power company
Excellent power strip and especially at this price. It looks quite refined, with an ON/OFF switch. It also has small rubber feet on the bottom to prevent slipping.
It solved my hands and now I have not only enough sockets available but at the same time I got rid of the chargers of the mobile phones, keeping only the cables on the power strip!
Excellent product and aesthetically pleasing!
I had no complaints until the USB ports stopped working over time. The capacitor had burned out, I replaced it and now it's like new. If I didn't have this issue, I would give it 5 stars.
Very good and sturdy power strip from what it seems at least. I have had it for over 6 months and it hasn't had any issues. I haven't tried the USB ports, but I wouldn't do it anyway, I don't think there's a reason, they are more for emergency use I believe. They definitely don't charge a device quickly, as the others say. I would definitely buy it again, I recommend it.
I bought 2 of these power strips for my children's rooms. Initially, they have a very nice design and texture. Also, while I was thinking about how I could secure them on the desk (e.g. sticking them with double-sided tape), in the end, I didn't need to because the non-slip feature they have on both ends at the bottom does a very good job. So basically, I placed it on the desk and by touching it to the wall in front, it is completely stable.
As for the quality of the sockets, they are fine. The plug goes in and out easily and doesn't seem to "stick" and require extra force to remove. So it's fine. I haven't tried the USB ports yet. There is a metal casing around the ports that looks very nice. Overall, it is a power strip that doesn't need to be hidden like the usual ones. ;-)
The only slightly negative thing is the on-off button. It doesn't seem to have a very good construction and I don't know how long it will withstand use. You can feel it when you press it. However, it doesn't bother me because I plan to keep it permanently on.
I bought it mainly for the USB ports and that's what I measured and evaluated. It claims to have 3.4 Amps, but I measured it at a maximum of 1.5 with a constant of 1.35, which is almost 1/3, as you can see from the photos. So, one star rating is enough. There is also a review that states it charges at 3.4 Amps, just like the product itself claims, and that's why I bought it.
I bought 2 for the bedroom, one for each side. The USB ports are the best, but they are not for fast charging. Fast charging only with the adapter and cable of each device.
Very nice and well-made, I just don't think the USB outputs 3.4A because even though my phone charger is 3.0A and supports fast charging, with this one that theoretically has more, it doesn't have fast charging.
Excellent power strip. Awesome build quality and very useful functions it offers! Ergonomic design and long lifespan without any issues. I recommend it...
Very good power strip, good construction and safe with its own On/Off switch, that's why I have bought two!
It solved the problem of charging a 5-member family's mobile phones, tablets, Nintendo, PS4, Xbox, portable speakers, laptops, without any issues of overloading the electrical household network.
Very good and everything works perfectly, but let's not fool ourselves, it is not safe. However, it is a good power strip to charge phones and have a light or other such things.
I don't know what others say, but for the past month since I bought it, no matter which fast charge cable I connected to one of the USB ports (without any other cable connected to the power strip), I couldn't achieve fast charging on my smartphone (I have the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro). When I connect the charger to one of the power strip outlets, then the phone has fast charging (just like in any outlet in the house). The USB ports don't seem to support quick charge even when I only use one cable.
Very good quality for its price. I use it to connect my modem, router, and 2 lamps, all good. The 3.4A it provides on the 4 USB ports are enough for relatively fast charging. No comparison to 2A. I don't know if it has a safety feature inside, it would be good if someone puts a TV or refrigerator on it...
Very nice product, even the packaging was excellent.
The USB ports are perfect, I always have my cables there to charge activity trackers, batteries, etc.
Nice on/off button, nice slightly metallic finish it has on the USB ports, and overall aesthetically pleasing. It's not like those bulky power strips that you hide :P
It has non-slip pads underneath so it doesn't easily move around on the floor.
The only thing it doesn't have is a screw hole, if you want to screw it onto a desk or something, like others have. But it's not a big deal.
However, I would really like it if it also came with 5 outlets :)
For its price, it is the best there is... I bought it mainly for the USB THAT HAS 3A 17W in order to charge my phone and controllers faster, etc... It has good construction and a 2M cable that will definitely come in handy
