Conclusion: The best for amateur use. Chinese (the izzy brand and others disappeared in the first months) but ultimately reliable.
Tips:
Always set the potentiometer to the maximum.
Throw away the wooden tools that come with it and buy a set from a store like Sklavenitis. Only use wood in contact with the plate.
Never wash it. Clean with kitchen paper.
Make a 2-meter extension cord because its cable is short.
Pour out the batter. When it turns golden brown in the thin spots, it is ready to be flipped. That's when it easily comes off.
