The jug was purchased on the occasion of buying a new espresso machine. Our water is particularly hard (3.5/4), so I thought that filtered water would help the coffee machine.
I haven't noticed any significant difference in the taste of the water.
The espresso machine has a filter, which with average use and average water hardness, the indicator light for filter change turns on approximately after one month. After 1.5 months of intense use (with water from the jug), the filter indicator light has not turned on.
Therefore, I believe that even if I don't notice it in terms of taste, it does a very good job.

The quality of the water improves dramatically. Good choice when your faucet doesn't have a water filter. The capacity of 2.4L is ideal for everyday use (drinking, kettle, coffee maker, etc.), while the filter indicator is very useful as a reminder to change it. It is important to faithfully follow the instructions for use regarding the process of preparing the filter with each change. The water is odorless and clean without a "heavy" taste.

Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Since we got our first Brita, we have it everywhere: at home, in the student house, at our grandparents' house, etc. It is narrower than the old ones, it fits in the refrigerator door. You can notice the difference in water quality, especially if the tap water has issues (e.g. in a country house), both when drinking and in cooking. I even use this filtered water in the steam iron when I run out of distilled water. We have saved plastic bottles! And the filters cost less than the big faucet filters per year. With each new filter, you just don't drink the first 2 refills because they have a little charcoal from the filter (well, pour them into the flower pots). I wash it by hand regularly, and when I change the filter, I completely "disassemble" it and wash it for a thorough cleaning in the dishwasher, on a light program (my mom freaks out, but nothing has happened). I highly recommend it!

It is good, at first when you put a new filter it makes the water taste a bit bitter, but if you fill it up and empty it 2-3 times, it's fine. If the water is a little cold, the taste is great. I fill it up and then fill two glass bottles and put them in the fridge. I change the filter once a month for 5€, so I stopped carrying/throwing away plastic bottles and consequently polluting the environment with them.

The filters lately are not like before. From the second week onwards, the water has odors as if it hasn't been filtered at all. It tastes like drinking directly from the tap. I don't know, but I am disappointed now and I don't know if I will buy other filters in general.Initial review:

I have had this specific jug for about 2 months and I am very satisfied. Despite the fact that it states in the specifications that it can hold 2.4 liters of water, in practice it is probably much less (maybe 1.5 liters), but this is not a problem for me. Its narrow shape allows it to fit in the refrigerator door, but it has also not been useful for me so far. The build quality is very good and, most importantly, the water after filtering is excellent. The maxtra+ filters are very good, but from what I understand, there are equivalent Greek ones on the market for half the price, but I haven't looked into it yet. I highly recommend it.

The water no longer smells like chlorine, it has a slightly bitter taste when the filter is new but it quickly disappears or rather you get used to it. With this pitcher, I drink more water.

I have 2, one at home and one at the office.
It is obvious that the water through it has a huge difference compared to drinking it plain from the tap.
Every now and then it needs internal cleaning because it gets dirty, also on the triangle that lifts to let the water flow.
The only downside is that after a few days, the lid gets stuck and when you try to turn the pitcher, the water doesn't flow from the front but a little from the sides, and it messes everything up, the water doesn't fall towards the glass but downwards.
