Well, I have had this set for about 3 years. What I have to say is that it has not presented any problems for me, such as keys not working or buttons coming off either from the keyboard or the mouse. The cable is (at least for me) satisfactory. Cleaning it has its difficulty because dust gets under the keys and it's tough to clean. In terms of lighting, it has 3 solid color options or it can blink or have a smooth transition between the 3 colors. However, I don't know if it's my problem (i.e., my computer) but lately, it has started to disconnect and reconnect. Anyone else who has it, I will write a question in the questions section to see if you experience this. If it's only me, then it's definitely worth it for a beginner on a budget.
Well, I have the keyboard and the mouse for 2 years. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. They have endured many spills and liquids on them. With a little dedication to cleaning, they still function properly. The keyboard is membrane, which I must admit I got tired of. The keys sometimes stick when they are very dirty, so you have to clean them. The mouse is quite sturdy for its price. It doesn't stick at all and has good DPI. For their price, they are totally worth it and I recommend them for a Budget solution.
First of all, the RGB lights of the keyboard do not move as the image led me to believe.
I have had this set for 4-5 years now and I can say that I did not expect them to last this long and they still do, despite the mouse having double-click issues after all this time and wear and tear. However, it is still excellent. It does have some difficulty in cleaning as there are parts where even a cotton swab cannot reach.
I have had it for about 8 months, as for the keyboard the only thing I have to say is that it tires you out when typing, but it's okay for games. Now, the mouse, for the past 2 months the right click started acting up, for example, in Fortnite, which I play the most, when I press to aim, sometimes it opens the scope and sometimes it doesn't. And in the past week, it has gotten worse to the point where I play without aiming at all, hahaha
The mouse is very good, but the keyboard is the worst. I can't type comfortably, it tires me a lot and overall when I play games, it is not comfortable at all.
It is the worst, do not waste your money. It does not have good build quality and within 3 months, the cable created a problem. It is not worth getting a keyboard that is not mechanical in general.
I haven't had the product for many days, but I can say that I am 100% satisfied. The cables for both the keyboard and the mouse are the right length and made of the right material. I definitely recommend it for a gaming setup.
A simple keyboard-mouse set, at a good price and with decent quality.
Keyboard:
With illuminated keys and three "programs" of RGB lighting effects. The membrane switches have a nice feel, but they are a bit "hard" to press. However, I got used to it after a few hours of use. It has an "aggressive" design, but it has a small issue of not sitting properly on the desk, causing it to wobble up and down on one side. The length and quality of the cable are satisfactory, and I consider the response to be excellent.
Mouse:
It has a nice feel and at least in my hand, it fits perfectly. The length and quality of the cable are also good, and its resolution can be adjusted between 1,200 and 3,200 DPI with the press of a button.
Conclusion: If you want something for extreme gaming and high quality, you will have to go elsewhere, as the KB 1700 will not satisfy you. If you have minimum requirements, then the KB-1700 is a value-for-money solution and I definitely recommend it.
I love Zeroground! Everything peripheral I have now is from them! I hope they take a few steps forward so they can produce even more expensive products!
Beautiful RGB lighting both on the keyboard and the mouse.
The keyboard is sturdy but the keys don't have the right feel. They are harder than they should be, resulting in missed keystrokes.
The mouse has a good feel, but it feels a bit larger in my hand than I would like. Also, the left click doesn't work properly and sometimes it doesn't register. Finally, for some reason, the mouse scrolling becomes difficult at random times and I notice that the RGB lights flicker.
For a 25 euro set, I don't regret getting it, but I'm not particularly thrilled either...
Visually very nice, but functionally unacceptable.
- Keyboard
• The keys are hard, resulting in losing letters many times, which is very annoying if you want to type quickly.
• Also, for some strange reason, it doesn't stand straight, so I have to support it on the mouse pad in one corner to prevent it from moving back and forth when I type.
- Mouse
• It misses many clicks. Meaning, you click, and nothing happens.
• Sometimes when you click, it registers as 2 clicks, resulting in unintended actions.
• When you hold down the click, it releases and clicks again, causing you to lose whatever you were holding.
• Sometimes the scroll wheel activates on its own, incredibly annoying in online games.
• During fast movements, it literally loses track and does whatever it wants.
I bought it today and so far, for the money, it's perfect. I won't talk about the positives because I haven't had it for enough time, but regarding the negatives, I agree with other reviews that the keys on both are quite hard, which personally doesn't bother me, in fact, I feel more confident that I've made a click, but after an hour of use, you get used to it.
Another thing is that the cable on both just reached my PC, which worried me a bit, but luckily everything is fine. I wouldn't say it's short, but a little longer wouldn't bother me.
Other than that, it has a nice built quality, much better than I expected. Instant responses in games. Plus, you have 2 extra buttons on the mouse, which I personally really like for various games with abilities.
Overall, it's definitely value for money and more, I believe!
The mouse broke after 5 months without daily use...waste of money and the keyboard sometimes sticks the keys and requires more pressure...not satisfied at all...
Well, it is a cheap membrane keyboard with nice LED lighting and comfortable to hold, and also beautiful but of course plastic in construction at such a price. Although it is convenient in terms of its shape and LED lighting, the keys are quite hard and if you get used to them, it's okay, but still at such a price, you don't expect much. It's fine for its price, if the hard keys don't bother you
This keyboard and mouse set proved to be perfect in terms of quality/price ratio, just like all the other ZeroGround products I have. I have had it for a little over a year and it works like new.
Keyboard
• It has a perfect metallic design.
• The LEDs were pleasant and bright, although I was disappointed that they were not programmable and that it only has 3 RGB presets.
• The key pressing is very nice, although it doesn't satisfy as much as a more expensive Razer keyboard, and the pressing is more membrane-like than mechanical (It was advertised as mechanical on the box, but it is membrane).
Mouse
• It is mostly made of plastic, although the bottom part is metallic and can withstand a lot of rage.
• The LEDs are as satisfactory as those on the keyboard and change every time you change the DPI.
• The DPI changes easily and it is suitable for everyone, as much or as little as they want.
• However, they are made for larger hands
Keyboard+mouse that disappointed me a little for the excellent products of Zeroground at Value for Money prices. It's a case of getting what you pay for.
Positives:
- Sturdy metal construction. I expected it to be more "plastic," but it pleasantly surprised me.
- Nice RGB lighting without being too intense, which I personally like.
Negatives:
- Compared to other keyboards, the keys are a bit hard. Especially on the space bar, which most of us press "lightly," it's a bit annoying. They may soften over time.
- It has specific RGB patterns - not customizable through software (personally, I don't care).
- On the mouse, where the thumb touches, there is no extra material (latex, plastic), but the metal makes it a bit "slippery."
As I mentioned above, you get what you pay for. A good keyboard+mouse package for someone looking for a budget option at 25 euros. They are worth their money, but only to a certain extent.
EDIT: After months of use, some keys don't respond well and have become so hard that if you type fast, the keys don't register. You get what you pay for
A gaming set for those who don't want to spend a lot of money but still want some quality. The mouse is quite ergonomic and relatively responsive. The keyboard is quiet and has good build quality for its price, although it does have some minor sticking issues with the keys. Of course, we should mention that we are talking about a very good value for money, as its price is low.
For hardcore gaming, it's just what you need. I've given it about 10 good hits and it hasn't suffered anything, if you break keyboards every 3 months, it's perfect.
4 stars because the keys are a bit difficult to press (or rather, not always so easy) and it may be because not all the keys are at the same height, which personally bothers me. However, I bought it as a temporary keyboard because my mechanical one had a problem, but I am seriously considering keeping it permanently as my main keyboard.
Assuming that the mouse costs at least 5-6 euros, a 20€ keyboard is unbelievable.
The reasons:
1. I got used to it quite quickly (within 2 days).
2. The build quality is very good for a 20€ keyboard.
3. Beautiful backlit color, although the letters/numbers come out a bit distorted, but let's not hide it, no one looks at the keyboard when typing these days.
4. Convenient size.
5. Overall, a beautiful keyboard, in the dark the color it has looks like it possesses a quality and I quite like it.
I didn't try the mouse at all, I gave it to my mother to use for a bit, when I connected it to her laptop I saw that it had a high DPI, I pressed the DPI button but nothing changed, but I felt like the button got stuck inside. I didn't do anything else about it, I didn't bother to change the sensitivity from Windows.
Overall, I was completely satisfied with the keyboard for its price. For more, time will tell!
I give it 4 stars because in the first month, the mouse started to occasionally stick the left click. I don't know if it's just me, but if you overlook that, it's simply the best for this price. I highly recommend it, especially for the keyboard. I don't know if this issue with the mouse was only for me, if not, it's just perfect for the 25 euros I paid for it
Simply excellent for its price.. The only negative is that I would like more modes for the RGB lighting as you only have three options, but the colors and responsiveness as well as the construction are worth it.
