In the volume "Business Restructuring - Current Issues of Commercial, Labor & Social Security Law", there are 10 presentations by top lawyers and scientists that were presented at the conference held on March 6-7, 2015 at the European University of Cyprus.

The theme of the conference "Business Restructuring: Current Issues of Commercial, Labor and Social Security Law" was chosen precisely because of the importance that business restructuring presents, both in the midst of an economic crisis and as a means of prevention and protection of the market and society from its consequences. However, business restructuring is not only a matter of commercial law. It also touches upon other legal areas, in which relevant legislative interventions and theoretical approaches are necessary in order to regulate the issue of business restructuring comprehensively. For this reason, it was a common idea of the organizers of the event, Stamatina Giannakourou and Antigoni Alexandropoulou, Associate Professors in Labor and Commercial Law respectively, for the approach to the topic to be multidimensional and interdisciplinary, in order to comprehensively highlight the concept of restructuring and the specific problems that arise in various knowledge subjects.
