The Camping Pro tent by Keumer belongs to the category of summer tents. It is aimed at those who seek high quality and comfort. Ideal for beginners as it features an automatic opening and setup system.
It features a durable floor made of Oxford 210D fabric. The top part consists of 2 different layers. The outer layer is Oxford 150D, with a special UV 50+ coating that will provide a cool environment inside. For rain resistance, it has a PU1500 coating and waterproof tape on the seams. The interior is made of Polyester 190T, a material that helps improve the ventilation inside the tent.
The frame made of fiberglass is a common choice for the construction of camping tents. It is a lightweight and durable material, made from fiberglass fibers that are usually coated with polyester to protect them from water and moisture.
Fiberglass is flexible, so the frame can be lightweight and flexible to support the tent fabric.
T means Thread which refers to fiber, and the number indicates the sum of the vertical and horizontal fibers in a square inch of fabric (see photo). The higher the Thread count, the denser the weave and the greater the fabric's durability.
D means Denier and it is a unit of measurement for the thickness of a thread. A smaller denier means a finer fiber, while a larger denier means a thicker, more durable fiber. To calculate the Denier of a polyester fiber, a piece 9,000 meters long is weighed, and the resulting grams are the Denier of the fiber. Therefore, if a 9,000-meter-long polyester fiber weighs 210 grams, then its Denier is 210.
The waterproofing of a tent indicates how much water its outer fabric can repel. It is measured in millimeters (mm) and refers to the number of millimeters of a vertical water column (and thus pressure) that one square centimeter of fabric can withstand without being penetrated by water.
The higher the degree of waterproofing, the less breathable the fabric is, and thus the warmer the tent. Common waterproofing values range from 500mm to 10000mm. Theoretically, any fabric with waterproofing >1000mm is considered waterproof. Indicatively, a summer tent may have waterproofing from 500 to 1500mm.

Guys, amazing tent, I tried it this summer in Samothrace in wind, sun, and rain, incredibly cool compared to the other one I had. It's okay for 3 people + backpacks inside but not for 4 people... I recommend it!

I have had the tent for 8 years, and after 8 years (this summer, to be exact), the white fabric underneath the zipper ripped from one end to the other (not at the seam). I have tested it in countless situations, from a 4-hour storm to a beach with 40 degrees Celsius. It has never flooded, and I never had any issues even with only 10 drops getting inside during a strong storm, which is understandable due to its age and the fact that I had objects leaning against the side of the tent, causing the outer cover to touch the inner one. However, even with those 10 drops, it is not a big deal compared to neighboring tents that literally turned into swimming pools. What fascinates me about this tent is not only how easy it is to set up and how it doesn't let water in, but also how cool it is compared to other beach camping tents. I have tried various tents, and with this specific tent, I would run straight to the sea for a swim as soon as the sun rose, sweating but comfortably sleeping an extra 2-3 hours without being bothered by the heat or waking up drenched in sweat. At the moment, I am looking for a new tent and I might consider buying the same one again, even though I originally purchased it for around 70 euros and now it costs 30 to 40 euros more. I believe it is still worth the money.
------ UPDATE ------
The good thing about this tent is that I kept the tent mechanism and the outer cover without the inner room because, as I mentioned, it ripped. I think it could serve as extra storage space or even to fit a smaller tent inside. The inner room was easily removed in 1-1.5 minutes by simply unclipping it, and if I remember correctly, there were around 10-12 clips. So, for me, this is an extra positive aspect of the tent because if the mechanism and outer cover don't break, they can be used in different ways, and you don't have to throw the whole tent away. However, I didn't search to see if there is a replacement (inner room) available for the tent.
-------- For those looking for a more expensive tent with the following criteria, please read below -----
After several months of searching for a tent, I decided to take the risk and try something new.
The main criteria I set were that it should be at least one category better than what this tent offered:
- It should be usable on a beach camping site without shade and not turn into a greenhouse. This is the main criterion I set for my new tent.
- It should be easy to set up without poles.
- It should be approximately the same size.
- It should be stable in strong winds.
- And it should have good waterproofing.
I bought (although I haven't used it yet) the Decathlon Quechua 2-second EASY 3-person tent. It is one and a half times more expensive than this tent, but at least on paper, it meets my requirements at least one level above.
If you are not willing to spend a lot of money, then the Escape Keumer is the best choice for you. And if you have no budget constraints and want a "beach" or "desert" tent, then look for the shiftpod hub.
So, these three tents are the best options for every budget:
Escape Keumer 3-person tent = 105+-
Decathlon Quechua 2-second EASY 3-person tent = 250+-
SHIFTPODIII.mini = 650 without customs/delivery fees
It can be set up comfortably in seconds by one person!
It can be taken down and packed up in 2 minutes by one person, or even easier if there are 2 people.
These times, of course, do not include the pegs, ties, etc., which are what will slow you down!
The price for all of the above is the very large carrying bag.
Apart from that, it seems to be a quality construction and it is quite cool even though the mesh on the doors is relatively small. It holds up quite well in the rain.
I have some complaints about its interior design, but they are minor details compared to the convenience it offers in setting up and taking down. Personally, I would not go back to poles, even though you can find a classic one with larger interior spaces for less money.

Many money for this tent I bought it for 65 euros it's not worth so much.. Attention the side windows let water in during heavy rain... It buttons only in one small scratch... And the wind passes through it, resulting in rain getting inside...
Very good and very easy to set up even for people who don't know about tents.
The tent includes pegs, which were found at the bottom of the tent when dismantling.
The mechanism is very easy both to set up and dismantle. It is worth its money and more. It was set up for the first time at night by people with no previous experience.
It was purchased due to the mechanism and positive reviews here on skroutz.
+ We timed how long it takes for one person to assemble and disassemble it:
> 1 minute and 10 seconds from opening the carrying bag until it is fully stretched (but not pegged into the ground)
> 2 minutes and 5 seconds to put it back and close the zipper.
I can say that these times make me very happy, as with traditional tents and two people, it took us 7 minutes to set up and 11 minutes to pack up.
This is important because often we stay in one place for one night and another the next, and when you're tired at the end of the day, the last thing you want is to struggle with the tent poles.
+ The mechanism is not only fast but also stable.
From the pictures, the plastic connection didn't impress me, but up close, everything is fine.
Compared to a pop-up tent, this type is much more stable.
+ It has double fabric and double mesh.
The mosquito mesh is quite thin, so nothing can pass through.
While some parts of the inner fabric are silver and effectively reduce the sun's heat.
~ The waterproofing could be better than 1500mm, but for the price, I can't complain.
~ We would like it if it came in other colors for stealth camping.
~ The size is not suitable for backpacking. When packed, it is around 90 x 30 centimeters. I would say it is mainly for transportation by car. It can be used with a motorcycle, but it is not very convenient.
+ It measures 2 x 2 meters, which is perfect for 2 people with belongings or for 3 people without.
Overall, the impressions are very positive, especially considering the price of €90. I have already recommended it to 2 friends.
When I have the chance to test it in strong wind and rain, I will update the review.
Very good tent. It is the first time I use an automatic one and it sets up very quickly. Practically, it saves you the hassle of laying out and inserting the poles compared to a regular tent. It fits a double mattress and there is plenty of space on the side for belongings. I wouldn't recommend it for 3 people, it would be too cramped, but in case of need, it can be done. It has front and back doors with mosquito nets and windows on the left and right sides also with mosquito nets.
We used it with 2 people, for three it's okay only if you don't plan to put other things inside besides the three people who will sleep and the mattress. During the 3 out of the 7 days we stayed at the camping, there were some strong storms but if you close it with the zipper and the outer cover, no water passes through at all! The only negative thing I found was on the inside, in the joints with the outer cover, in the seam that also catches a bit of the mosquito net - mesh - tulle, at that point the tulle tears a little because the joint stretches a lot when the tent is set up. Overall, quite satisfied.. It's worth it!

VERY good tent. I have had a branded mountain tent with aluminum poles for years, and I was looking for something that sets up and packs up easily (even in the dark) and is cool. This one sets up in 10 seconds, super easy even if I arrive at the camping spot late at night. It has VERY high-quality materials and is INCREDIBLY cool because it has front and back entrances with screens, large windows on the sides with screens, and if you want, you can even leave off the small sunshade cover (from the outside) and stay with the small screens. It has a DOUBLE fabric (not an additional one but fixed) and it seems like it would withstand rain very well (I haven't experienced it yet). The only downside (I was thinking of giving it 4 stars) is the quite large packed size. It is quite big, but this is something that ultimately doesn't matter when you buy an automatic tent, as all the movements are by car... 5 stars from me.
