A book very beloved by my son who already learned it by heart after just a few readings (at 2.5 years old) and wanted to tell me himself. From there, we learned to count up to 5, we learned fruits, days, and various foods. From there, we learned what a cocoon is and how it becomes a butterfly. A little treasure, just like the rest of Eric Carle's books. Not surprising at all that it continues to be published even 60 years after its first release.

Very good illustration, with a plethora of colors and large shapes! A very good exercise to learn the days of the week, learn to count from 1 to 10, and learn different foods! Eric Carle is excellent!
