It does not work properly, it reads with the adapter-hose on all the engines that were tested at 50 psi compression, which is very low and not accurate. With the metal adapter, it possibly measures correctly, it showed 90 psi. However, by receiving incorrect information, a user easily believes that their engine is damaged.
