Simply put, this brand is amazing. Many compartments, small pockets, memories, hidden compartments... I won't talk about the quality because I have had one for 3 years and now I bought another one for my son. The only thing that will break is a leather strap. You can change it somewhere for 5 euros, but even that after a very long time.

Compared to the photos from previous reviews, I see that National Geographic has made some changes regarding the material of its exterior covering, as well as the overall construction quality. The new bag seems to be of higher quality in all aspects, such as the stitching, zippers, and exterior fabric. Design-wise, it remains the same as the old one, with many compartments of different sizes for all the small items you might want to carry. The gray color that I got is quite dark towards charcoal, but it doesn't show well in the photos how dark it is.
After about a year of use, it shows no signs of wear. I will come back in the future for its final evaluation regarding durability over time.UPDATE 5/1/2023
After about two years of use, the leather on the handle has started to crack, which is completely normal. Other than that, it still holds up well in terms of stitching and zippers.UPDATE 27/1/2024

Unfortunately, after 5 months of use, the fabric on the back of the bag that rubs against clothes started showing significant signs of wear, which means that after another 3-4 months of use, the fabric will tear! Additionally, the zippers have the problem as mentioned by other users, making opening and closing the compartments relatively difficult! As for the compartments, it is indeed quite practical and spacious.

Quality materials and stitching, plenty of storage space. I had no idea how useful the handle would be on such a small bag.
I haven't encountered rain yet to see how waterproof it is as it claims, but so far, it is recommended!edit 26/2/2021: After three months of daily use and plenty of rain - and even a little snow - I can say that the bag is still brand new and flawless, just like the day I got it, while remaining waterproof even in tough conditions. Really good quality indeed!
The only "downside" for me is the design of the metal pullers on the zippers. The ring that connects them to the slider is not circular but rectangular. As a result, it is extremely easy for the puller to get stuck in a crooked position as you pull it, making the opening and closing a bit more difficult.
I deduct one star for this particular issue, which is also evident in several of the photos that friends have uploaded in their reviews (pullers stuck in crooked positions).

A very high-quality bag (logical since it's National Geographic). It has many compartments and a hidden pocket for any eventuality. However, the compartments are not large. A characteristic is that for owners of mobile phones with a 5-inch screen and above, the provided case simply does not fit the phone. (Update 11-03-2022. The new 6.4-inch phones, which are narrower, fit perfectly fine.)
After a year and a half of continuous use, it hasn't suffered anything.

By far the best little bag I have ever bought that is worth its money. It has a back pocket for identification, a medium-sized one for a thin book or tablet, and the main compartment which has a zippered pocket and a simple one. The main compartment comfortably fits 2 500ml water bottles and other items without squeezing. When opened, the protective flap has a small open pocket and one with a zipper, which is convenient for storing a mobile phone and cards for immediate access, as well as a small pocket with protection for small items like USBs. Finally, there is another zippered pocket above the protective flap where I put my keys. The handle is convenient, and the strap is adjustable for people of different heights. In the past, I had bought 2 other bags that didn't work because of the lack of space, but this one is not only very beautiful but also not too casual (you can wear it even with a blazer). With daily (hard) use and weight, it hasn't suffered the slightest damage. For me, it's a no-brainer.
