Coming from the Seasonic prime ultra 1000watt, I can't say that I noticed any difference. It has a single, multi rail switch which I personally consider outdated since most high-end power supplies work on a single rail. However, it is generally very quiet in operation. The cables are at the edges and it is a bit difficult to pass them at an angle because of the capacitors, which may make cable management challenging for some. For those who want it, the company offers custom gen4 cables that connect directly to the power supply, of course, at an extra cost. If there is the possibility, I consider it a good purchase for a 1200W platinum power supply, as you can find it at a better price than many other companies with the same specifications, and the 10-year warranty I think will cover most needs.
EDIT:
The power supply is causing a shutdown on the computer with a kennel error code 41. The computer has been checked and I also have a Seasonic prime ultra 1000, and it doesn't give me such issues. It seems to have a problem, as it started failing after a week. Poor quality control

PSU Corsair always. Because they NEVER presented me with any problem. I have a 10-year-old RM that works perfectly. Very reliable and at reasonable prices according to what is happening. This specific 1000W HX1000 I have has never opened the fan in 4K gaming and has never caused me any trouble. Now, if the fuses are tripping on the house's panel, you probably need an electrician.
I bought a brand new 1000 a year ago, supposedly, the technician told me it has a great history, he accidentally saved it and didn't know how to fix it afterwards, after a year it broke down, from "new the safety was falling from the panel, and one day it just stopped working and I sent it at the end of March and even today, which is the end of June, 29th, neither corsair nor tech support know where it is, they don't want to fix my PSU because their seal was broken, it seems like no one opened it. But yes, they come up with every excuse not to fix it, a burnt transistor worth 1 dollar, far away from corsair, the warranty doesn't apply.

All is well with the Corsair power supply. It works like a dog and will definitely last for years (I have had power supplies from the same company in the past and they are extremely reliable). The only negative aspect is that the cables are not sleeved, making cable management a bit more difficult. One would expect to have higher quality cables at this price, considering that even cheaper Corsair power supplies had sleeved cables.

The power supply itself (as well as the HX1000i) is possibly a good product, IF it doesn't give you any issues straight from the factory. This happened to me, as I received a faulty batch (S/N: 2030XXXX to 2041XXXX) which caused instant shut down on boot. The problem is that if the power supply remained unplugged for days, it could play for a few hours before the shut downs started again. That's why, when I initially sent it back for repair, they told me there was NO issue and it even withstood a stress test!! I was forced to send it back a second time, along with a printed statement from the company which ultimately acknowledged the problem. A total of 1.5 months of inconvenience, searching, and frustration amidst a pandemic, for an expensive high-end product. So, stay away from Corsair in this category, choose a more reliable brand that makes its own power supplies (e.g. Superflower).
I bought it a few months ago, I was looking for something quality around 1000 watts but as the market is right now there aren't many options available...
I preferred to buy the 1200 which is much larger than what I actually need rather than something smaller or marginal.
Unless something unexpected happens, I will keep it for about 10 years, just like the previous one from another company that I replaced preemptively before it decided to leave on its own and take something else with it...
It is literally silent in any normal use I do on the PC since the fan never turns on.
Even when I managed to put it into operation with simultaneous stress tests on an overclocked CPU and GPU, it was silent... something that is unrealistic in everyday use.
The only negative thing I find about it is the relatively inflexible cables near the connectors due to the filtering capacitors they have, as well as the relatively long length (200mm) that makes it not fit in all cases.
However, the above negatives have a reason for being the way they are, as they provide better performance due to cleaner power and improved passive cooling when the fan is not working.
An open box was purchased for €150. I was torn between many power supplies from various brands (Seasonic, Corsair, Evga, Superflower, Enermax, and a couple more), and in the end, I chose this one mainly because of the offer. Normally, it was priced around €165, but I got it for €152 (I'm talking about the price at my doorstep). The reason I wanted such a good power supply is not because I have a monstrous system, at least not yet, but because the power in my area is really bad. Trying to adjust the graphics card and processor as I wanted, I realized that it's impossible to work properly with fluctuations of around +-100mV at any given moment. Monitoring the system, I saw the voltage "playing" when it definitely shouldn't. My system consists of an i5 4670k and an RX 570, which, due to the poor voltage, frequently turned off my screen. Yes, I know it's overkill, but I bought it because I liked it and for future systems.
The unboxing was quite impressive, and you can see it on YouTube. In my case, it was slightly less (open box), but nothing was missing inside, so no problem. It includes enough cables to power anything (even SLI/Crossfire, Threadripper, anything), and they are all of good quality. I only needed one "Sata" cable for 2 drives and a DVD drive, while with other power supplies, I would have needed 2 separate cables. For the motherboard, CPU, and GPU cables, you should keep in mind that they have capacitors at the end, which makes them quite rigid. If you don't care about cable management, you're okay, but if you're obsessed with appearance, you need to pay attention to it. Another thing I liked is that the cable length is good, and there are many ways to connect them to the power supply. Specifically, because I work with a huge case (Coolermaster Trooper), I always had an issue with the CPU cable; I had to use an extension to route it. This generally isn't the best solution if you want stable voltage because you're adding (questionable quality) length, and therefore resistance. With this power supply, it reached, although barely. I would have liked another 5-10 cm length in these "beasts," but few companies offer more than 650mm.
Regarding voltage, I immediately noticed a difference. I lowered the volts to levels that didn't work with the other power supplies I tried, and now it works. In-game, with one eye on the volts, I saw the graphics card much more stable where I set it. Of course, the VRM also plays a role, as well as other factors, but I saw a significant difference. Unfortunately, I don't have the appropriate equipment to thoroughly test all of this, but many reviewers do.
Beauty is subjective, but I can say that it's nicer than its photos. I installed it with the fan facing upwards, and it's perfect. Naturally, it's silent; I don't think the fan will ever work in my system. It only runs during startup until it enters Windows. It comes with a ten-year warranty. That's all from me; I hope I helped.
I bought it when I was looking for a power supply, especially for a super flower, but unfortunately all the prices for these wattages were very high, until I found this one for 185€ and I bought it without a second thought. After some time, it works perfectly and without the fan even working at all, even at 1000 watts consumption
I have the HX750 since 2006! I imagine it's the same, since the layout and the PSU are the same, just mine is black and without rounded edges.
It has gone through 3 motherboard changes and 8 graphics cards, and hopefully it will last just as long. It's a real beast, 13 years without a UPS with countless voltage drops (see summer) and it hasn't skipped a beat. Of course, I can't say I've pushed it to its limits, in the past with an FX with a high vcore and a GTX480 with simultaneous Prime95 and Furmark (to heat up the room, brother) it didn't exceed 440W. Even at that level, it remained quiet, obviously the fan settings are at low speeds.
In the low category, evga and bequiet can almost play by themselves, but for me at least, the HX and RMx series = guarantee!

Very good and high-quality power supply. However, it has compatibility issues with some motherboards. Yes, compatibility issues between the power supply and the motherboard, something that I didn't believe existed until I experienced it. Specifically, the power supply worked correctly with my motherboard until the system shutdown point. Instead of cutting off the power and shutting down the machine... it only happened for half a second and then the power came back on, reopening the system. The connection was correct and the problem was confirmed by the store where I purchased the power supply. The power supply worked correctly with other motherboards, and my motherboard worked correctly with other power supplies. The motherboard is the Asrock 880g extreme 3 (an old motherboard).
I have 2 so far that work continuously 24/7 since the beginning of February 2018 (and unfortunately I paid 225€ each at that time!).
Very high-quality construction, silent, with a large number of connections and options, very good performance in terms of temperature during operation, very good and comprehensive packaging and accessories.
What bothered me, based on a similar review by a well-known Greek on a foreign website, as well as based on technical specifications and my measurements, is that it cannot handle anything more than 1,050W - 1,100W AC input (approximately 950W consumption in DC). During this power range, a characteristic "click" sound is heard and the OPP or OCP relay trips, requiring you to turn it off from the switch for a few seconds and then turn it back on to recover. Tested in both single rail mode (which allows maximum current/maximum power on any rail) and multi rail mode with no difference. Measured with a reliable Energy Cost Meter directly from the wall socket.
Other than that, if it doesn't need to operate at its limits at times (there must be a consumption lower than 950W DC, always), I consider it a very high-quality power supply from the top brand Corsair, with the 10-year warranty exuding a sense of trust for the owner.
From the best power supplies at 160 euros that I bought. 10 years warranty and silent. It has been working without any problems for 5 months now with oc on 2 gtx1070 and a ryzen 1700.
