Good and affordable machete but needs some work from the user's side to become functional. It doesn't come sharpened and the wooden handle is rough, it needs some sanding to become smoother and not bother the palm.

In terms of durability, the handle seems to be good, but overall the wood is prone to splitting and requires care. Personally, I treated it with wax cream and when it dried completely, I tightly wrapped it with thin paracord.

The steel is of 1070 quality and of course not stainless. The 2mm thick blade withstands well even in lateral and frontal impact without breaking. It is flexible and has great resistance to fracturing.
.....
It is made in Brazil, where, from what I read, it is widely used. At 15 euros, it is quite value for money. At 9.5 euros, which it had at the beginning of the year, it was super.
