Nice book, it's old but what the author says is still relevant today. It's worth reading to understand how businesses operate, how salary increases work, public works, public servants, etc!!! A simple example is when a disaster occurs in a specific area of our country and they rush to get money, even those who haven't suffered any damage, and people often say "Well, let the government give something too," without realizing that in order for the government to give that money, it will have to take every last euro from the Greek taxpayer.

It is a bit old, but it has very good features. The truth is that you can find better books if you want something of this style. Personally, I read the page 2-3 times to fully understand what it says

Book Station in economic thought, whoever wants to characterize themselves as a responsible citizen and informed should at least start from this. It is very small, simple, and not at all tiring. And of course, the quality of Papadopoulos editions is not missing from this book.

Approach so simple to the point of genius that it dismantles all economic plans, even those that originate from very old sources and are presented as new ideas. You are amazed by the blindness of the world to persist in mercantilist and Keynesian theories. Take it without a second thought, it is the perfect book for an introduction to the Austrian school of economics (Hayek, this brilliant scientist, although American, belonged to the Austrian school). In fact, in a few paragraphs, it outlines the economic problems that we have as a country 73 years ago. It has only a few numbers and definitions, explains everything realistically and with examples, not with dry concepts without meaning (this is the magic and realism of the Austrian school in general).

Wonderful book. It effortlessly and patiently dismantles modern myths about the economy, explaining with examples and more the negative effects of specific economic measures. The book is perfect for someone who wants to delve into economics but has no experience. At its price, get it without a second thought.
