Description

Abbot Dorotheos was a holy monk and active missionary. He did not keep the gifts of his personal sanctification for himself. His life of obedience was filled with acts of love that relieved the physical pain of his neighbor and nourished his soul for the life of the Spirit. This dual purpose of monastic holiness and missionary activity is also the motivation behind our publications "Preparation".

The phenomenon of many young people in our homeland turning to the sources of non-Christian Eastern religions is the terrible result of our alienation from Orthodox Spirituality, from the enlightened Patristic contemplation and from the Christ-like life of our holy Fathers. This is an additional reason that makes the publication of this work urgent and timely.

Easy to read, but also multi-layered. It contains deep meanings. Not everything is fully "visible" with the first reading. The best thing is to read it while listening to the relevant speeches of Fr. Vasilios Voloudakis (available on YouTube), who delves into its meanings.
