Description

In this book, stories of protagonists have been included within research laboratories and behind laboratory benches, written as I heard them and as they were published at times in newspapers and magazines with my signature or pseudonym. Stories about everyday people that we don't even know are around us and work for our well-being and happiness, but whom we subconsciously worship the universe for their existence. Calm individuals who radiate strength, who overturn laws and rules, who fuel hope and do not let it be lost. "Enlightened" minds that daily advance humanity one step further. The common element that the "protagonists" of this book have is that in their lives they did not seek first place and distinction. They simply served their science and, during their personal journey, encountered success. Most of them have a fascinating personal story, which I had to record even by traveling to various points in Europe in order to meet them at their headquarters (Geneva, Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart, Sicily, Copenhagen, Athens, Rome, etc.). In the book, I included established scientists in their field, as well as young researchers who either achieved a world-class achievement, or were pioneers and innovators in a field, or were distinguished for their overall work, or continue to quietly work on their subject. The recording starts from 2005 and reaches up to today, but it never ends. Countless researchers shape the conditions of modern scientific reality and unfortunately are absent from my pages. In no case does this mean that I do not know them, do not recognize them, and do not honor them. I hope to do so practically in the future.
