This book, which has had multiple editions, introduces the reader to the great chapter of Arab culture. It identifies who exactly the Arabs are and what their geographical space is, records their historical presence and course in the world, describes their religious, political, and social life. Their culture is presented with an awareness of its richness in various fields: philosophy, literature, development of sciences, architecture, arts, and "art of life", interpersonal relationships, relations of Arab culture with neighboring peoples.

Combining scientific approach with familiar and simple language, the book initiates - in an analytical and respectful way - the reader into the still relatively unknown, and often overlooked, world of the Arabs.
