In this post we will analyze the three main protagonists of the holidays that will "light up" your appearances and your mood. Because if you don't wear something shiny & bright these days, when will you do it? 

The Looks that will inspire you

Sequins 

Nothing screams Christmas and holidays more than sequins. We usually find the smaller version of them on fabrics and the more extravagant ones on accessories. Whether in their monochrome or colorful version, sequins have a reason to exist these days from morning till night: in the morning as a detail and at night as the protagonist. 

Your style radar can look for something from the following this year: sequin jacket, sequin skirt, sequin pants or sequin bag. In the first case, choose a black version and combine it with nice cigarette pants and white shirt or white t-shirt. In the second case, it's worth investing in a shorter version and wearing it with fluffy sweaters or oversized sweatshirts for a more casual with a twist look. If you choose pants, dare to go for colorful or patterned sequins and pair it with a simple t-shirt, high heels and some velvet details. I left the sequin bag for the end for those who want to shine but still have second thoughts. 

Metallics

Metallic shades are circulating strongly this season and rightfully so. Without trying too hard, they make their own statement and we must acknowledge that. For your evening appearances, a metallic mini dress or a jumpsuit in a metallic shade can steal the show for all the right reasons, as long as you maintain the right balance in the rest of your outfit and pair it with natural makeup and corresponding hair.

If you are a fan of colors, then a leather jacket in pink, purple, or vibrant blue metallic color will elevate your evening appearances, and why not, your morning ones too, if you want to be a bit more "daring"! If metallic shades don't express you, you can add accessories or clothes with metallic details such as silver, gold, or dark gray to your morning casual look. For example, a pair of shoes, a metallic bag, or leggings will upgrade your style and add a festive touch.

Glitter 

You will find it everywhere this season. So why not in clothes and accessories? In this case, it is good to spend a little more money to be relatively calm that you will not walk and scatter glitter in your path. Unless you're okay with that... ;)

Sweaters,  velvet pants with textured glitter elements, bags, turtlenecks, jackets, and many accessories show a weakness for glitter elements this season. 

If you feel that you are not yet ready to surrender to the charm of a sparkling garment, you can complete your look with a glitter belt in shades of black, silver, or gold. Keep a glitter bag in pastel shades or elevate an evening look with a pair of high-heeled glitter sandals. 

If, on the other hand, you want to surrender to it and experience it in all its glory, a glitter jumpsuit with a plunging neckline or an open back, a suit with glitter patterns, or leggings with glitter will make you feel like the queen of the holidays.
