At IFA, they live in 2050 with rotating laptops and transparent TVs!

The IFA 2024 exhibition concluded a few hours ago, and once again, the focus was on technological advancements in home products, "smart" solutions, and the artificial intelligence that is now everywhere. Let's take a look at some products/services that we highlighted from the German exhibition.

Transparent MicroLED Panel from Samsung

Samsung had a transparent MicroLED panel at the center of its booth. Its use may seem irrelevant to many, but the way it was presented by the Korean company was very specific. Beyond the technology, Samsung showcased how such a panel could be used in exhibition spaces or museums, where the exhibit would be at the center and the display of its showcase would provide extra information.

Imagine a laptop with a rotating screen that constantly turns to face you, allowing you to be comfortable during a video call or an online meeting. The product was showcased at Lenovo Innovation World at IFA and features a 13.3-inch display. It rotates 180 degrees on the vertical axis and 270 degrees on the horizontal, and can capture panoramic photos.
