EA Sports FC 25: Officially Presented and Coming on September 27
EA Sports and EA officially presented EA Sports FC 25, their second football video game after separating from FIFA. EA Sports FC 25 will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch on September 27, while those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition will be able to play 7 days earlier, on September 20.
EA notes that with this year's game there are several changes, as the FC IQ is also integrated, a mechanism that combines real data with game data to create - in combination with HyperMotion V and Play Styles - a more realistic flow in matches.
The game will introduce for the first time the Rush, a new mode for 5v5 races that supports the same gameplay and mechanics as regular matches, but on a smaller scale and on smaller fields. The matches will even use AI for the models, so that the overall depiction looks much more realistic and each team appears to play with its own style. In Career Mode, there are Live Start Points that put players at the center of events, such as managing transfers in the middle of the season.
Changes are also coming with women's football, which now comes with its own Career Mode for the first time and with the support of many well-known leagues. EA Play members will have the opportunity for a 10-hour trial access to the game from September 20, so they can get a solid taste and know whether to invest in the purchase or not.
Englishman Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid will be the cover star in the standard edition, while in the Ultimate edition he will be joined by Aitana Bonmati, David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, and Gianluigi Buffon.
