Oatmeal Pie: A Nutritious and Energizing Breakfast

Oatmeal Pie: A Nutritious and Energizing Breakfast

The bran pie, or otherwise known as oatmeal pie, is one of my favorite healthy breakfasts.

The main ingredient is oat flakes, from which it takes its "strange" name.

Although it is a simple pie, it is delicious, easy to make, nutritious, full of protein and dietary fiber, and low in calories!

Its taste is neutral, so depending on what you add on top of it, you can give it a savory or sweet taste.

Don't be fooled by its name... The "dirty pie" is a delicious and filling breakfast, ideal for difficult and demanding days, for the whole family. And it smells wonderful!

How to make a sweet oat pie

To start your day sweetly, you need to cook a sweet oat pie...

  • 2 egg whites

  • Coconut Oil Coconut Oil
  • Oats & Cereals Oats & Cereals
  • Dairy Products & Plant-Based Milks Dairy Products & Plant-Based Milks
  • Dried Fruits & Nuts Dried Fruits & Nuts

Since the previous night, in a glass jar with a lid, you mix oats, chia seeds, and almond milk. This way, the oats soften and become more digestible.

The next morning, beat two egg whites and add them to the mixture.

Then, take a small pan, pour some coconut oil and empty your batter. Spread carefully, until it becomes a thin pancake and cook on both sides over low heat.

Serve and decorate with banana slices, grated coconut, almonds, raw cacao nibs, and carob syrup to give a chocolate touch!

If you prefer a milder taste, add some honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Oat pancake is my favorite breakfast on gym days because it gives me the necessary energy and strength without unnecessary calories.

However, since I also want something to drink in the morning, I combine it with a Matcha Latte Freddo On the rocks and start my day full of well-being, smiles, and a wonderful mood!

If you want to feel the same way, all you have to do is try it...
