- Two zucchinis and four large carrots
- One large onion, one leek, and one clove of garlic
- One bell pepper, one potato, and two medium tomatoes
- A handful of parsley and dill
- Two bay leaves
- One tsp sweet paprika, one turmeric, and one black pepper
- One tsp salt and four tbsp oil
If you want to make fish soup or other seafood dishes, remove the parsley, dill, and tomato, and add celery instead.
Homemade Vegetable Stock Cubes Step by Step
The process to make the most delicious and healthy homemade vegetable stock cubes is really easy and fun.
- First, thoroughly wash all the vegetables and herbs, and let them dry.
- Then, clean all the vegetables (zucchini and bell pepper do not need cleaning), and cut them into small cubes, while finely chopping the parsley and dill.
- Add all the chopped ingredients gradually to the blender and blend them.
- Put the blended vegetables, spices, and oil in a large pan, and sauté them over low heat until all the liquids evaporate.
- When the mixture is ready, remove it from the heat, remove the bay leaves, and let it cool to room temperature.
- Next, line a rectangular baking dish with food wrap, pour the mixture into it, cover with wrap, and place it in the freezer for at least three hours.
