Recipe for sugar-free cinnamon rolls!
You can easily make juicy and delicious cinnamon rolls for the most enjoyable Christmas morning. Let's see the recipe from δiatrefo:
Ingredients for the dough
- 200g whole wheat flour
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup water
Ingredients for the filling
- 240g pitted dates
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1-2 tbsp warm water
Ingredients for the glaze
- 2 tbsp honey
- ½ tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well to open the dough.
- Blend the dates and cinnamon in a blender with 1-2 tbsp warm water until a homogeneous mixture is formed. Spread it on the dough and roll it up, starting from the edges, to create a large roll.
- Cut into pieces with a knife and place them side by side on a baking tray to prevent them from rising too much. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius on the middle rack, depending on the oven.
- For the glaze, simply mix the two ingredients to drizzle over the rolls as soon as they come out of the oven.
